The listing, ~~ BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY MAGNET~~ Tithonia rotundifolia *Torch* 20 seeds has ended.

Want to attract more butterflies to your garden? This quick-growing annual produces vivid red or orange-red dahlia-like flowers from mid-summer on. Its leaves are, soft, dark green and lobed. Plants can reach up to 6 feet tall and 2 feet wide, filled with blossoms in just a few months. Butterflies love them! I can always count on finding them where this plant is growing!

Flowers are great for cutting too!

Care: Provide well-drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun. Stake if necessary and shelter from strong winds. Grows best in hot, sunny weather.

Recommended propagation: Start indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost date and plant out after danger of frost has passed. Or sow directly into garden in late spring. Avoid exposing seedlings to cold.

Personally, I direct sow.

Other details:

because starting a rose from seed isn't easy... and def not for the beginner...I already have my seeds stratifying for the spring...even then it's still no 100% that they will germinate...

Most of the rose seeds you'll find one here are from hybrid roses. Hybrids will not come true to type in the next generation. Only species/wild rose will come true and that's only with isolation. Ppl on here offering "hocus pocus" rose seeds or a specific color. etc, are offering false hope. There's no telling what the buyer will get even if the seeds germinate. And that's why you won't find rose seeds at a big box garden centers,
