This is the pride and joy of my butterfly garden! I have raised hundreds of Monarch butterflies with this perennial. These are seeds from a great Butterfly Flower, SOUL MATE, Pink Marsh Milkweed. This, and other varieties of milkweed, are the only plants that Monarch Butterflies lay their young. Watch the underside of leaves closely for emerging caterpillars. The blooms are rose pink and scent the air with vanilla. They follow the season with large seed pods that blow in the wind. Seed pods can be collected for next year, or left to naturalize. They prefer moist soil, and grow in wet areas, where other milkweeds will not. They are very hardy and very little care is needed. I believe the "strong shall survive" in my garden. You will appreciate my motto!

garden. Please notice that this auction is NOT free shipping. I require a padded parcel for these seeds. Either they are more fragile or larger than the ¼” with padding that is required for parcel per USPS shipping rules. You only need to pay shipping for ONE of my auctions, as all other auctions for the week will be included FREE in the parcel. Parcel also includes a tracking number. I am happy to say that my seeds tested 99-100% germination within 2 weeks at a temp of 65°F in the spring. Excellent for beginners!

Propagation Method: Sow seeds shallow in soil 6 weeks before last spring frost. Sow 3-5 seeds per pot. About 10 days before the last spring frost, begin hardening the plants to the outdoors. Transplant your plants to a sunny location.
