That's last for months.. ive had mine in use with a bamboo plant over four months now and they still looks great and work great!! Yes gin gets 6 packs two of each color shown, and two vases:) not sure how many in each pack about 50/100 when fully expandanded each pack will fill a normal sized vase.. :) thank you for your question:)

Yes, they are very small and increase by 500 times they are the size of a marble when ready takes a few hours/over night!
