Description

The listing, Genuine Black Akoya Pearls has ended.

These earrings are made with Tibetan Silver findings, and silver french ear wires.
Here's a little information about the pearls. You can go to Wiki and get a complete education on these spectacular, tear drop shaped blue pearls.I make these so they are guaranteed to be well made and beautiful and stay that way for years to come. They are set with Champagne colored Genuine Swarovski Crystal faceted beads.I wear this kind all the time and get many compliments everywhere I go, on the beauty and luster of these pearls.
Without the wires they measure one inch long. Perfectly suited for the office, or a night out with your little black dress. they just go with everything and go anywhere. Nicely conservative, or can be mixed with other earrings for a wilder look.Trust me on this. I have worn them with everything, I love them so much. This is a new, unworn pair.

Akoya Cultured Pearls
Prized for their brilliant luster and rich color, Akoya pearls are a traditional symbol of elegance and beauty. Produced by Japan's Akoya oysters, they are the most popular of all pearl types. Depending on the size of the mother oyster, they grow from 3-10mm. Colors range from white, cream and pink to light green, blue and silver.
Black South Sea Cultured Pearls

The breathtaking color of these naturally black pearls is produced by black-lipped oysters in the waters off Tahiti and Okinawa. Sizes begin at 8mm, in round, oval, teardrop or unique baroque.shapes. While characterized as black, the rich, dark colors actually range from slate grey, silver and pistachio to peacock green and midnight black with overtones of green, rosé or blue.
It's hard to see in pictures, but there are deep black lines and swirls all over these and just breathtaking to see if real life.

You and me both my friend. I just love working with them. I love wearing them to. I had never seen pearls like this before I started making jewelry. If you win, just wait till you see them up close and personal. Oh my, they are pretty. Glad I stocked up on them before Fukushima. I won't order anything from that part of the world now, I hare to say. These might become rare for that reason. They are radiation clean in case anyone is wondering. Thank you for your interest and bids.
