I'm lucky to be able to grow veggies all year round. My pepper plants are at least two years old and still product during the winter. I actually use pepper plants as part of an edible landscape. I often have visitours ask, "What type of hedge plants are those". :O) When I tell them that I use bell pepper as hedge, they're often amazed. Edible landscape works for me. I also use cabbage and lettuceas border plants.

Wow, that is neat. I'd like an edible landscape. I usually keep flowers and the vegetable garden separate, except for marigolds, but I'd like to start using different pepper plants in landscaping. I bet it would actually be pretty to see reds, greens, oranges, and yellows as veggies instead of flower petals.

That is why I planted all my Veg. out front this past year in Pots and my peppers were along the side of my house I did not have a "Garden" like I usally did. They seemed to do allot better too cause they got more attention! My Giant Tomatoes I had in Big Pots and they were So Pretty!
