This is designed for the original Nintendo DS, the fatter one. The small openings on the right hold 4 DS games, the 2 below hold GBA games. The straps on the left will hold the DS in place. The zippered pocket is for the charger and other misc. accessories.

Dimensions of a Game Gear are 209 x 111 x 37 mm in-case you don't have one to put in.

If you don't want to measure it, taking a picture of it next to a quarter or something should help.
