Albatross, as to whether it has been blown into - I did try it out and I don't have any "cooties". I don't know how to verify my account. I know I just sold another item and the lady was pleased.

It should work, I don't know. I'm a singer so that is what it was used for, and yes, I did blow into it. Again, I can assure you - no cooties - HA.

I don't know for sure about the what it can be used for. Whether it can be used for a clarinet or flute - I would think that any instrument you need to sound a key - such as a C or F. I just don't know.
