Questions & Comments
This is soooo cool. My daughter just told me she's pregnant. If i don't get this, will there ever be others available. I live in Bleefoot country, N.W. MT. My daughter worked with wild horses and teens on the reservation and saved over a hundred Mustangs that were left fenced into a grazed out property and were starving. I think she'd greatly appreciate this as she's an off grid natural girl. Can you tell me what the cloth is? Is it wool...I hope? Nothing synthetic?
Wow! I wish I knew about your daughter earlier, I had a native felt print with horses, brass tacks on the side. It was sent to Oregon to another buyer. I do take orders but they run up to one-twenty five + shipping. If it was all buckskin it would run anywhere from from a thousand up w/beading. Wood is quite pricey too.
Oops didn't edit. Blackfoot Country. Another bit of the story. I lived with her dad in a teepee, and when my daughter was born a friend of mine who does museum reproduction leather and bead work, made my daughter a brain tanned, beaded, miniature cradle board. complete with baby doll, and hanging from it is a beaded Lizard in which my daughter's umbilical cord was put, and when she passes will be buried with her. The tribe from which this was copied, believed that you had to have everything you came into this world with, when you left it. This is one reason soldiers would mutilate the native Americans. It would wreck them spiritually. Thanks for listing this.
