Description

The listing, STACKING SANTA!!! Adorable!! Xmas gift!! has ended.

This is a complete Stacking Santa Set made of wood. My son never played with it. And it's been packed away since I bought it in 2001 in NYC.It's beautifully hand painted, in rich colors on wood. I cannot say for sure where it was made so I do not suggest giving to a child who might still try to put it in their mouth! This is best for an older child or adult (I have a set of Ladies ,that's mine!! Lol) . The are made of wood but care does need to be taken, these are more of a decorative item. My son was about 8 when I gave it to him.. There is a smidge of paint missing , here and there ,in the front and on the bottom of Santa's coat , but all in all considering it's 12 yrs old it's in good condition.
Now, here's the rest of the story of how I got this. My friends and I were all meeting in the World Trade Center to look at a space for a possible store. It was on the mezzanine, We took pics of the space and me sitting in a window ,there. later I went downstairs and saw a man with a little cart full of things like this. And I bought it from him. For one reason or another , we decided not to rent the space. I have this and a little plastic snow globe I brought back , with the tiny Twin Towers inside. The water has since leaked out. I may post it on Lista , too. I know some people like to keep momento's of the place. I thank my lucky stars everyday we never rented the store.I still have the pics of me sitting in the window.

****Please have you address Listia Verified before bidding!!! It helps us both!!*******

Thank you for Looking! Please check out my other auctions ,too! I have about 15 right now! I can do combined shipping (the higher price would be the one you'll pay, as long as they can be shipping together******

Yes, I wasn't sure if I should say it, it might upset some people, but it is the truth, and part of the history of the Stacking Santas. When we buy used or antique things, they have a history, often ,mostly we don't know anything about who owned them or where they came from. These Stacking Santas are survivors or 9/11. I would like o believe the man that sold them to me , survived , too but I don't know it for a fact. It's just such a symbolic thing in my eyes , that make these special .

Hi They don't seem to have the box we have in our store, ,It's about 7" x7" x5" (or slightly over) . The nearest one , is the medium Flat rate, listed at store price $12.35 . So for now that's the best I can do, I'll try to get a more accurate price later ,today. TY(I would think it would be that or less for the more square box).

What an amazing story! I don't know what it was that made you decide against
choosing that place for a store but Thank God you did! That decision saved your life! Was it an intuition you had or just an uneasy feeling that made you decide not to open a store there? I think everyone would like to know!

My intuition is directed by uneasy feelings. My son has it too, It's saved our lives numerous times! But, I don't (for the most part) know what is going to happen, just that something bad is coming. My son gets actual stomach pains, before an event, He stopped me from going to the World Trade Center that very day, which in turn delayed my friend (my -ex) who I was supposed to meet there. The other person we were supposed to meet also knew my ex was delayed and he detoured elsewhere(Staten Island I think) . Thank God!! I do also have premonition Dreams and ability to find things, but I never learned how to really understand it. I knew a Clairvoyant when I was in college and I wish I had talked to her more. She too, had said she didn't understand it at first. But ,I never asked how she figured it out or how to 'read" these feelings, dreams, thoughts. I do know she saw things "like watching a movie" , but I don't have that, I get "feelings"
