A friend of mine just taught me to knit and I am getting a whole kit of knitting stuff for Christmas. But, to answer your questions, no, I did not knit these. There used to be a woman at the nursing home where I worked who would knit 30+ pairs every Christmas to give to the other residents. This and the other pair I am auctioning were given to me so I had a "pattern" to copy when making my own. I hope to begin auctioning my own come January.
