shipping doesn't only go by the weight they also go by measurements of the box if it is over 12" , try to get yourself a postal scale so you can weigh things at home and then get a shipping rate at the usps site

I have one problem, when people come on and make negative statements about any item. The ones saying they never used theirs to me is negative. I am on my third one. I use mine a lot. These are really cool. My third one in 12 years is nearly wore out. So guess what, Fanned and watching and Bidding soon. Thanks for listing.

I have to disagree with your badbob, i wasn't giving any negative statements about this item, it seems to be pretty cool, but i do agree with trevor it also doesn't fit our family needs, well not as of yet, we will eventually try it out. It is a great item for anyone who LOVES cooking gadgets. :)
