The listing, Sterling 925 Silver Designer Inspired Earrings New has ended.

These are new handmade, stamped 925. All silver is real sterling,with pretty agate / glass Beads. Much prettier than picture. These have a approximate drop of 1 1/4" give or take a mm and are sure to bring lots of compliments. I was a designer for years and still am but now mostly work with a torch making glass beads. I have been stuck in the house of a bit due to my studio needing a new vent install so instead of going stir crazy I decided to bring out my vast jewelry making supply and make some earrings. Actualy your earrings remind me of his work. My sister has several of his pieces beore he was famous. We discovered him while on a trip to whidbey island in the 1980's. He was who I thought of when I seen YOUR work. You have great taste also. .

Oh you are so sweet. Thank you so much. You made my night. your sister is very lucky and smart with owning his works. They have probably increased in value quite a bit since she purchased them. He is a very popular artist. We are natives from Whidbey Island. My mother in-law still lives there. My husbands great great great uncle (Dave Mackie) owned the beach front at Maxwelton (Dave Mackie Park) and donated it to the city. We love it there. We visit quite often. It's a small world. I've never had the pleasure of seeing his work in person. I've viewed it on the internet and am amazed at some of the colors he brings out in his glass works. OMG!!! A Whidbey Island native. We sooo love that place. Last time I was there I stayed at the Acorn Hotel & begged them for job so I could stay on the Island. I even have my initials on the Deception Pass bridge...lol.. Now I have to go back to visit the park. I'm sure I have been there as we hit every public place on the beach that we could. I love the little winery & gift shop. I can still smell the apples from that wonderful place. Did you have any particular influence when you creat your beads? I thought of Chihuly immediately when I saw the earrings & then when I seen you live in seattle I pictured your studio adorned with Dale pieces. they have become quite valuable but I need a lottery win to afford them even in his early years...lol..
