The listing, NEEDS A GOOD HOME has ended.
This belonged to my grand mother and I was going through my cabinets and found that it had gotten chipped on the edge and cried. That is when I decided to list it here I truly cant watch if it were to get broken here. I believe the second pic shows the chip it is not bad but to me it hurts.
It will take me a couple of days to get to post to know exact shipping guessing around $10.00 prob. less will post as soon as I know for sure but I WILL NOT ship item without tracking insurance and 2 day delivery. Thank you
WILL PAY SHIPPING WITH GIN ONLY!
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE SHIPPING FEE PLEASE DO NOT BID! NOT TRYING TO SOUND UGLY JUST TIRED OF THE CONFLICK THANK YOU.
Questions & Comments
This was known as Jewel Tea. My Mother had a complete set. I am 74 so you can see it old.
It is a bowl regular size old fashion serving bowl mashed potatoes peas and such not for cereal or soup will try to add size tomorrow sweetie but back giving me a fit tonight sorry.
Not sure what you mean about the lining could you please explain? There was supposed to be a pic of the inside as well but I guess it didn't down load with the others. All I know is I remember granny filling this with fresh Crowder Peas for me they are my favorite peas this bowl also holds great memories as well but as stated going to be broken if it stays here so glad people of your generation are the ones showing interest.
Man all of you making me so sad that I listed this item LOL I really hope one of you win this piece of my granny because I know you will take care of it thank you three.
I have the complete set. They were all trimmed with gold. The gold was so soft that is why a lot of it wears first... This is the Autumn leaves pattern from Jewell T.
This auction is about to end and unfortunately it is a sad ending for me BUT I am glad it will be going to a safe place as I said almost broke my heart when I saw the chip. I want to thank each and every one of you for all your input it has been very interesting. I like researching things and finding out this kind of info it just never occurred to me what could be learned about a bowl that to me only had sentimental value. again thank you all so much and please feel free to follow my future auctions bid or not and comment on anything else I may list this auction has been a joy and may God bless you all.
