Description

The listing, teddy bear has ended.

Birds need to chew things, as with all my toys, this is made with all bird safe material. this teddy bear was dyed at home, I used 5 cotton ropes, which doubled to 10 with plastic squares and rings that can slide up & down, the piece on top is called a birdie bagel, its thick cardboard. This toys was made to be destroyed, please don't bid if you think it's going to last forever. this toy is for a med size bird, like African Greys, Eclectus, Although my Senegals do love this one. as with all toys, please keep you eye on the bird and toy to make sure he doesn't get caught up in anything
I will ship to verified Listia addresses only.

ok green cheeks are about 10" long, abot 60 to 90 gms, there length is the same as a teil, but there slimmer.. Now I have Ekkies who would never play with this, they like small toys, I have 2 sennies that go through the duck and teddy like like crazy I call them my wood peckers. and there chunkier than your bird, but they love wood.
Now I don't recommend this toy for a teil. but if your green cheek loves to chew wood, then yes,

Thanks. Got some bird toys awhile back and forgot to ask this. They stunk to high heaven of smoke! They spent the summer outside getting refreshed by the sun and occasional rain. Now I need to get some food coloring, as they also lost all their color!!

not all toy makers are the same, I do parrot rescue and I along with about 50 others make toys for rescues all over the country.
My toy room is off limits to all birds, and it's a smoke free home. I can't believe I didn't mention this. I'm so glad someone asked. Thank you so much
I'm also anal about toy safety and size birds that get them.

Would this be good for a quaker parrot? I also have an African Grey but I just adopted him hes between 10 and 29 yrs old. Weve had him for a week amd seems terrified of toys.h

yes and yes, quakers are chewers, and greys would like the rope, the grey you would have to play with the toy your self for about a week, then put it where he can see it, but not where he can get it, some birds you have to go at a snails pace till they accept a toy. in his case poor baby, never had a toy. it may take him a month before he accepts it. I would also start with little toys that won't freak him out as much. Please feel free to email me anytime, and I will help you , Bet he's a seed only bird?

Although I don't have enough credits right now, I've F'd & W'd . My mom has LOTS of rescued birds (parrots, finches, lovebirds, cockatiels, parakeets/budgies, etc.) so I will keep you in mind :)
