The listing, VintageOtagariSanta Claus Music Box has ended.

This is Otagari, Japan for Gibsons Greeting Cards, Inc circa 1949. Rare; collectible. I could have got cash for it quickly on ebay, but I just love Listia so much, so here it is for you all who appreciate vintage items. Gibson's Greeting Cards, Inc was acquired by American Greetings in 2000. Music box does not work. There are no outer defects. I spent an hour surfing through images on Google; I could not find one like this. I only found two other Santa Claus' by Otagari, but they were much smaller than this one. This one is about 19 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter. It weighs 4 lbs. Happy bidding. I will ship on November 30, 2013.
