Did you see my little "sensible shoe" dangle charm? It's silver plated, really pretty, and looks JUST like the shoes nurses wear. I'm thinking of making a listing for one of these with one shoe charm … whaddya think?

Holiday Shopper Alert!
I have a lot going on this week …we FINALLY finished building a "shed" at our house, to replace a building we've been renting for storage. I now am moving and organizing a LOT of stuff.

Happily, it is the LAST time I will EVER "move" but it is taking a lot of time out of my Listia schedule!

For the time being I think I will not relist anything and just let my listings expire through Thanksgiving … if you want ANYTHING and I don't have it listed, just ask me, or win something of similar value and I'll swap it for you.

I simply MUST take some time off from Listia, much as I hate to do that when it is the holiday season and so busy … I'll have a LOT of stuff on Listia after Thanksgiving!

I also have a really nice silver plated "sensible shoe" dangle charm that looks JUST like the shoes nurses wear. I'm not planning to post any new listings for the next week or so (please see the comment I posted on all my listings) but I think one of EACH (an RN and a shoe) would be a great set … whaddya think?

I don't have that shoe charm listed at the moment … but if you win another charm of similar value I can swap it for you, just remind me in the correspondence.

what are the markings on charms

None of my charms are marked. You will only find marks on brand-name charms, which often are made from sterling silver (and priced to reflect that). This charm is "tibetan silver," which is a silver color metal with NO silver in it at all … but I also have a lot of bright silver plated charms.

If you want Pandora or other branded charms, you can probably find a few on Listia but most will be charms like mine … inexpensive costume jewelry.

Personally, I would not spend the big bucks (usually $30-$100 per CHARM) for branded or sterling charms in a gift shop or jewelry store … these costume-quality charms are much more fun to collect because you can get a LOT more of them for the money and have fun making different design/color bracelets, or swapping out the charms on one bracelet!

I hope that helps … but please be aware that you are NOT getting high-end, sterling charms on Listia unless the seller says and SHOWS in photos the brand marks on the item they are selling.

I think collecting Euro charm jewelry on Listia is a GREAT deal and lots of fun … these make GREAT gifts too … you don't have to give someone a bracelet loaded with charms. If they already have a bracelet you can get them a charm or two, or just get a bracelet with one or two charms as a gift and let them add their own.

I'm not relisting stuff for a few days so I can cut back on my Listia hours and finish my moving project. It's going slow, it WEARS me out SO fast to haul everything into the new shed … it's a bit of a distance and I have to go up stairs.
