The listing, Homemade Apron Made by Me has ended.

I am trying out a new pattern. Let me know what you think of it. Be honest, it won't hurt my feelings. Several of my friends and relatives said that these aprons are preferred over the tiebacks. You just slip it over your head, put your arms through the armholes and your all set. The front has two large pockets and, as you can see, the back is open. It has a small piece of material connecting the two sides to keep it in place. I will be asking more in my GIN because this takes more material to make these. Good luck and have fun.

i think this is fabulous! my mom and aunts always wore these in the kitchen over their good clothes for functions like funerals and weddings, and then they would be quick to take off, and voila! the were in their good clothes! also they would keep things like tissues for funerals, and extra silverware etc. in the pockets while they were serving. now adays i bet the pockets would be great for cellphones and other goodies. cool auction!

Thank you so much for your wonderful memories and great input on the apron. I vaguely remember my grandmother wearing these for every holiday occassion when the whole family got together.

The pattern says one size fits all but I personally think that it would fit a person up to 300 lbs. comfortably.

Can you show a full length picture of the apron...It is real cute. How long is it?

It is 37" long from the top of the straps to the hem and 32" across. I can't take anymore pictures today because I just took a bunch more to list more auctions and my batteries are dead and recharging.
