Never worn 14kt gold plated brass earrings that have been sitting in my jewelry box for years. They are cute sand dollars surrounded by hammered hoops. The backs don't appear to be gold layered and have started oxidizing over the years causing some color changes. But earring backs are a dime a dozen and I'm sure if they bother you, you can just switch them out with a current pair of earring backs. Please take a close look as these are as is. Even though they have never been worn you should always sterilize earrings that aren't straight from the retailer. Please look up how to properly and safely clean earrings without hurting the gold layering as I am not a jeweler and I can not be held liable for how the earrings are handled.
