i hope i win and i will be watching for more of these cards! I recently won a scrapbooking kit for the elderly at the nursing home where my mammaw used to be,,, this would really help so they can make scrap books :) they have very limited funds for the activities department and I like to try to supply things other than bingo to do...not that i dont like bingo

i love to help these people. when my mammaw broke her hip and we had to work and couldnt be with her all the time, the other residents came to the rescue but i about bingoed my brains out there so i want to find something else to do. one of the newer residents who will eventually go home mentioned the scrapbooking idea and i tried to get them some stuff but it is so so expensive and it is something that takes forever to get the kit together. i was blessed to find this kit and now i am looking for gift cards to get them started, maybe i can get one once a month or so since they have the class once a week. or until the scrapbook stuff runs out, but the lady that i won it from said that it is alot of stuff so they will be needing alot of pictures!
it is so sweet of you to collect hats for the patients. my mother also had cancer and received chemo. she is now in remission for 10 years.PRAISE GOD!
so i know that there is NOTHING to do there and it is such a sad,bleak,depressing place to be :(
so now i am rambling....lol
