This wonderful little Opuntia cactus is a relative of the "Prickly Pear". The potted specimen pictured is about 9 inches tall!!! It is a perfect miniature of the cacti seen in so many desert gardens. Hardy, easy-to-grow, and spreads fast. A great accent plant or the perfect potted plant for deck or patio. You will receive two cuttings, easy to root and ready to plant!

Does it have sharp needles on it like the prickly pear? How big will it get? I'd have to keep it in a pot. Is it pet friendly? Does it bloom?

The spines are tiny hairs, so it's a touch-me-not. Mine has never bloomed. It's staying at about 10 inches. And my pets don't seem interested in it at all!
