This came from my grandfather, it is very old, not sure if it brass or copper. very interesting if you are a pen collector! Happy Bidding! I Only Ship To Listia Verified Addresses!
My boyfriend mentioned that he loves fountain pens and I have even searched for one on here, looked around in malls... I've never been able to find one. If I win, it will go to a loving home as a Christmas gift for sure!
Hi this is an Eagle pen from the 1890's, I believe this is one of the first models they used. The patent expired in 1907 for this pen, it has a glass ink chamber and is made of brass. Eagle pen company of New York is one of the first companies to use the glass inserts. The glass was capped with wax to hold the ink. Since this pen is so old and you cannot get replacement parts for the wax it is not useable except to dip in the ink. This is an amazing pen. They are somewhat rare but sadly not worth very much as they are not useful. Most pen collectors in my opinion want pens they can use. This pen body is solid brass from the information I could find out about it. It is a very nice pen and I hope I can win it. I also hope the information I have given will help increase your bids. I looked for a few hours online to find the information I did find. Thanks for letting me know what the pen maker is.
