7500 take them both folks. That's 3750 each. What a steal. And if you are trying to get every single pokemon you need both games. Remember there certain legendary pokemon on each version and you can only get those pokemon on that versions game.
Also all pokemon can be transferred from game to game so once you collect them you can move them with you to future pokemon games aswell.
