The listing, Large Cone Cotton Thread-Crochet, Weave has ended.

This is a huge cone of cotton ecru colored cotton thread. This thread is an approximate size 10. It is not a smooth thread, but could be used for crochet, but I believe it was originally used for weaving as a warp or weft (I don't know much about weaving, so I'm not sure which is which). It has a few small discolored spots, but there's a huge amount here. As you see, the cone weighs over four pounds. I don't know how much yardage. I cannot do free shipping, so please don't ask. This is from a smoke-free, but not pet free home. All Listia rules apply. Thanks for looking!

I have several similar cones multi purpose of cotton kitchen twine. Maybe that is what this is? They are 40 plus years old but I still use them frequently.

It might be, but it's not as heavy as the kitchen twine I have. I really don't know. It's rougher than regular crochet thread you buy in the store.
