It more or less in a "cute" fun way has some fun with the whole process. The chimp which is the character my son usually chose, goes down a campaign trail playing games and winning favor or votes (forget exactly how it is worded)

It looked cute when my son was playing it but I didn't pay it a lot of attention checking amazon for a description for you and replying to next post that asks same thing :)
