These soft leather pants are absolutely gorgeous, they just don't fit me! They are size 8. Just below the zipper in front, from side braid to side braid they are 19" across. I hope that helps. Super soft leather, and braiding down the sides of the legs, and at the knee, and on the waistline. The waistline has a small repair on the inside where the braiding broke, and in another place the braiding is tied, but it's inside the waistline, so it doesn't show, or harm the integrity of the pants. There is also a small scuff close to the hem of one of the legs. You can't really see it unless you're looking for it (as shown in the picture). The pants have a design embossed on the leather, and are very, very, nice. The winner of these won't be disappointed!
