I know you said the writing is too small to read but can you tell if it is numbers or letters and approx. how many numbers/letters? Many times, older rings will be inscribed with initials of who owned it or both owner and maker and person it may have been handed down to. That would help in dating this. Thanks

I just found one on ebay exactly like this. It is a retired Franklin Mint. It is sterling silver with 24K gold accents. The letters should be FM and a C with a circle around the C. Right now a 5+day listing at 39.99 starting bid with 0 bids. Hope that helps!
