Five(5) "spools" of craft pearl strings/lengths in 5 yards containers. Pretty much unused. 4mm,3mm, are the sizes of the pearls. Each container has a hole for dispensing and the pearls are in a circle wad inside. Great deal for making dolls, stringing craft beads, jewelry, earrings, decorating your special creations! Easy to sew too! Christmas colors too!

Are the beads permanently on the string or can they be cut off to make jewelry with?

They are permanent on a string but can be cut off to use as each's. This is more of a trim than individual pearls.
