Can you harvest maple sap from this well?

Yes, almost any maple can be tapped.Some produce a better tasting syrup than others. It take 5 gallon of sap to make 1 quart of syrup. A tree needs to be at least 8 inches in diameter before its tapped.Its not hard to collect the sap, but it will spoil if not refrigerated.I always have to save it up over few days to get enough to cook it down to make syrup.
