Questions & Comments
Could you please give more details about donating the proceeds.
I thought I had posted this response to your question on an auction item that closed approximately 9 hours ago. Anyway, there are two ways to contribute and/or donate to a non-profit cause. One is through the Listia service yet, they are the determining factor as to which organization will receive the points. The other is to make it directly in "hard match" funds, such as what we do with the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. I personally, want to choose my organization because of having been invloved with them for 28 years!

If you ever find yourself with some spare time each month, you might want to consider contacting your local/area chapter to inquire about the various volunteering opportunities. My employers -- an international corp., allows me time off with salary to participate with the RC's National Disaster call-ups, I was at both Katrina and and year at Ike. Makes you feel great inside being able to help those in distress. Any, yes, I too hope you never need the services of the RC though, they will be there!
