I cleaned this broach in tarnish remover and it's now beautiful, very bright. As they say, silver reflects light better than any other metal...

I added a 2nd photo after a 2nd cleaning, this time with a cue tip. This looks like it cleaned up dust between the ridges close to the crystals. The black spot on the bottom and the bright spot on the top are artifacts of the scanner I'm using. The ridges and brightness are pretty uniform all round the broach.

Note: there appears to be one maybe two crystals that were replaced. One replacement left a tiny spot of glue at it's base between the ridges. You have to look hard at it in reality and it's almost invisible in the photo. It's at the 8 o'clock position in the photos.

It says Sterling on the back, so should be Sterling Silver. There is a bit of a scratch?, imperfection or sand die crack between 2 ridges at the 4 o'clock position on the front that "adds character" :-) and there is no copper visible underneath.

The broach is heavy. It's 12.4 grams which is closing in on 1/2 an ounce (1/2 ounce is about 14.2 grams for the regular ounce).
