I have a really cute craft idea for them and I will be listing it as a craft kit, in the next few days, with all the parts and instructions for this inspiration that is floating around in my mind about how to use these at the current time.

When snapped shut they are about 1/2 inch deep inside, They are 1 1/2 inch in diameter. When spread open about 3 inches. I didn't do a very good job lining the lid up with the end of the yardstick, that it why in the picture it looks a tad bit longer.
