Up for bid is a beautiful box with a piece of porcelain from the Ming or Ching dynasty that was fashioned into a box in Thailand. Found this at an estate sale and it has a printed piece of paper inside that states the following:

The cover of this box is a piece of porcelain from an antique vase from the Ming or Ching Dynasty (14th-19th century) of China. Many antique treasures were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution by the Red Guards; in Thailand, these shards have been recycled into beautiful boxes and individually handmade to fit each piece of broken porcelain.

Dimensions: 3" Long x 3" Wide x 1.5" tall.

I certainly can't vouch that is real or not but it is a beautiful piece and weighs 6 ounces. Also not sure what the box is made of (doesn't stick to a magnet).
