You are no matter what held liable even if the person doesnt pay for the tracking. It's in the Listia rules. Tracking is only less then 1 dollar so if you want to cover yourself I would put tracking no matter what. Keeps you safe. Listia refunds credits if a package is lost and there's no way to account as to where the package is.
