Possibly, I got these along with a larger collection. I do test them to make sure they are readable. They are good for someone who has no protection and I believe it is cheaper to upgrade then to buy new.
Great question!... I have original product key for Norton Personal Firewall I believe it works on both but I also printed a Product key on my copy of Norton Systemworks and I believe it is the correct one, but did not write year on the copy... and I cannot check it on the system I now have. At least I know it is not compatible with Windows 7. Systemworks does have the utilities: Norton Clean up, Disk doctor, Win Doctor, Wipe it
P.S. to Product key question: Systemworks does have the utilities: Norton Clean up, Disk doctor, Win Doctor, Wipe it and Checkit Diagnostics that run off the disk and do not need a product key... just tried it...
:) #1. You may not want to? #2. It's pretty easy to do... If you install a new platform such as an any version of widows or Linux installation should walk you through it. #3. Benefits of doing this become very apparent if one of your installations ever become corrupted or infected. #4. Downside is dedicating space on your hard drive for two separate platforms... #5. If this is all T.M.I. "to much info" then it may not be for you or I can walk you through it all...(Buy obviously I do charge). :)
