The listing, 'Hot Tools' Model Hair Straightener has ended.

This is a used hair straightener that could use a good home. The metal bar heats up very quickly and get VERY hot (I should know, I almost burned myself while wrapping the core after testing it).

This straightener has a very lengthy cord and was prior used by a hair salon shop who recently "upgraded" their tools. However, this straightener is in perfect working order. Retail, it goes for about $15-$20.

This would make a great gift for any girl who cares about having straight hair-- bar some scrubbing of the metal bar (which I will actually work on for the next few days). :3

lol the picture is of a marcel curling iron. different from a spring curling iron and a straightener, which is a flat pincher type shape. In fact the marcel is a bit of a specialty item as not many people use them anymore. I however am such a person!!

The description IS the item?... The pictures just give the visual aid of the item?... I'm not sure what you're asking. What's the difference between an "iron" and "straightener"? I'm very unfamiliar with the terminology of female hair care tools. ;-; I just thought the whole thing was called a 'Straightener'.

I said this in the description... I almost burned my hand when rewrapping the wire after unplugging it, not knowing it was as hot as was.

I use the marcel! and will be bidding. I am an older stylist and was trained on the marcel, now days the spring type is what is used mostly..
