good grief do you people that go shopping to a regular store ask for the exact measurements for things when you go to buy them or do you just see something you like and buy it ?? I was just wondering : and take into consideration some people may not be as computer savey to know how to repost @ add pictures and details .
These are really cute! I would like to know how tall they are too,but I bid anyway.I do not get offended when someone asks me to measure an item I have for auction. It's hardly the same as going to a store & looking at the actual item.I don't get what the issue is here??? As I said,W & B....
I have been watching this auction and the comments. In response to the one who placed the auction, since they can't "see" it and "touch" it to make any decisions, then it was a fair question to ask about the height of the item. The answer to that question would have been to pick up a ruler, tape measure or even a dollar bill (equals exactly 6 inches) and make a rough estimated size comment for everyone. That didn't happen.
To those who think they are cute, they are. But, to those who feel the need to bicker, whine and batter, get a life. There is enough strife in this life without all this crap in comments to a simple auction. The rule of thumb is "you get what you pay for".
Now if any of you that are whimpering like scalded kittens would have bothered to look closely at that picture, they look to be sitting in front of a sofa or chair back on which a doily and a book are laying. Judging by that photo, I would dare to estimate that these are more than 6 inches tall and probably closer to 10 inches tall or more. Use your eyes and your head instead of your mouths.
With that being said no matter how much I liked these and was hoping to win them for my hope chest for my new home next spring, I don't need or want the aggravation so I am out of here. Good luck to the seller and the winner.
The highest cost for gaining credits is to buy them at the lowest value package offered in Listia. Therefore, $5.00 for 1500 credits is the highest value you could possibly pay for credits which means that the just under 900 bid at the moment is under 2/3 of $5.00 at the highest cost for two items that everyone seems to want and then getting free shipping that saves you gas money and time on a trip to the store, this bickering becomes even more petty. The fact that the seller admits they are new it becomes despicable. Instead of tearing someone down when they are new, you should have been offering to help or at the very least giving some consideration and understanding. The fact that if you went to Wal-Mart to buy these, if they were even there (doubtful), they would sell for much more than has been bid so far and you aren't even being asked to pay shipping which two of something that size with protective packaging isn't going to be cheap. You were all way off base here and sorry sometimes someone just has to open their mouth and tell you that you were wrong. Guess today it just happens to be me.
