I am really new at this. Didn't know if you received the other message, since I didn't do it under reply so I copied and pasted. Thanks for the question. The camera and book does not say night vision but it is a Night shot camera and takes pics with low light. I have tried to google the model number and I just cannot make out the next to the last digit. I have not used this camera other than to play with it a few minutes here and there. Have not even used a full charge yet. I purchased from an acquaintance when mine broke and my husband had mine repaired before I got back home with it. I just can't give you a positive yes. I am not sure that this will help but the exposure value goes from -2.0-+2.0EV/0.5 and the White Balance is Auto/sunny/cloudy/Fluorescent/Tungsten.
Since you are new, could you please take a pic of the camera with a piece of paper with your Listia user name next to it, and also maybe a pic of it open to show the size of the LCD screen and that it works? thank you very much. Fanned and watching.
Hi, thanks for the questions and suggestions. I have posted another pic. It is not the greatest. Sorry! My cellphone and digital camera are both acting up right now.
This would make a great starter camera for my 10yr. old grandson... he is always using my digital camera to film his magic tricks... Keeping my fingers crossed for a win... Awesome auction ! ;o)

Can you give us the model number so we can look up the specs online? Come with USB or RCA cables? what does it record on (8/hi8 tapes, SD card, etc.) And is it the chargeable batteries, or regular sized (AA or AAA batteries?)
I cannot make out the next to last digit of the model number but this is it. DCR-HC-90 I think. But when I google it, the pic shows a swing out LCD screen and this one has the screen in the back. I will try to add in the specifications. It has RCA cables with it but also will do USB. I do not have the USB cable for it. I just noticed the power charger says motorolla so I am not sure if it is the original cord, but I do know it charges it up.
Can you post a photo of the bottom with the model number? The model that comes up using the model number you supplied is a different camera. Also, from what I have been reading, there may be a chance that the HDEXPS is a counterfeit. Please feel free to hide this comment since I am NOT saying that that is the case. I just want to do some more research before I bid. Thank you.
It is such fine print on the bottom of the camera that I cannot make out the next to the last number. It has a bend in the camera in the middle of that label and I just cannot make it out. It looks to be 90 but at other angles a 30 or 80. Sorry. I have tried to find a camera online that looks like it an I cannot locate it. There is no wording on the box except Sony and there is no model number in the book. Sorry, it is frustrating to me also.
It is what it is. If it is a knockoff then I am unaware of it. Needless to say, it is a camera that does all of the above and has the specifications listed. I AM NOT TRYING TO HIDE ANYTHING. With that said, that is also why I am not hiding your comment or the previous one. I am leaving everyone to their own opinion and capable minds of making a decision of whether or not they want this camera and to bid on it. Thank you very much for your rude comment.
If my statement of truth seems rude to you, (rude?) lol.... You must be a comedian. Oops, maybe that statement will seem offensive... Let the buyer beware. Period.
I find it offensive in that I am new to this site and your ALL CAPS NOT, in your statement seems to imply that I am being untruthful. I have answered everyone's questions and I am sure supplied info that some would not. I am not one of those that think everything should be politically correct. However, the polite way you could have said this since you do not know me, would have been simply to state it may be a knockoff from China. If you will look at Rebetaz statement I was not offended and answered as best I could. Thank You!
