The listing, iPod 40GB 4th Gen with silicone covers and possible wall charger. has ended.

This auction is for a 4th gen Original iPod with 2 silicone covers, one blue one clear. Will include AC adapter if bid reaches over 5000.

It will not hold a charge. Also it over heats when plugged in and trying to put music on it. Might just need a new battery which can easily be gotten from ebay.
