Description

The listing, HOW to spot a fake Swarovski FREE has ended.

Tired of the fake Swarovski such as I am? Tips to spot the real:
1. REAL are not sold on strings, unless they are the pearls.
2. REAL are precision cut with all facets meeting equally. Fakes are often off set.
3. REAL have holes all the same size with smooth polished and even edges. Line those fake beads up and you will see what I mean.
4 REAL only come in certain colors. Please research those colors before buying. This can easily be done by doing an internet search for the term Swarovski bead colors. Or message me and I will send you a list of those colors.
5. REAL has no imperfections in color, fakes often have faded spots.

DO not believe someone who tells you that they are real Swarovski beads just because "my supplier told me, and I have been buying with them for years". Often these suppliers are ebay sellers from overseas that do not have the same restrictions on copyright violations as everywhere else.

Thanks! Fanned back. I wanted buyers to have a fair advantage. The thing is, that those fake ones I see so often can and will sell if listed just as beads so really sellers need to do that.

I need to add that listia cannot remove an item just because someone reported it as against the rules for being fake. So, be aware that just because you see a swarovski add over and over again, does not mean it is real.

Yes, that is one of the reasons I felt the need to put this up. I have come across two listia sellers who continue to post the fake items as real despite education and pointing our the signs of them being not real. Those sellers feel supported because their "supplier guarantees they are real". So I want buyers to have the advantage of knowing what they are really bidding on.

That's wonderful of you to give everybody this information for free. I called the company and they sent me for FREE a sheet with every color and shape they sell. And I also got a huge catalog from them to order bulk crystals. So I suggest anybody else to do the same. :)
