my daughter is turning 3 and she got it when she was two so I would think that starting at age 2. She was still wearing it until she got another one from a friend. I have to say that depending on the size of the little one really. I know that a friend of mine has a little girl the same age as mine and she is a bit smaller and she is still wearing hers..
