Description
The listing, Postage Stationary - Stamps has ended.
This is an envelope that was used. I found it in our house when we moved in. I am puzzled that it has the same address on both the sender and the receiver, but different names.
The football and "29 USA" are a part of the envelope. There is an additional "Conestoga Wagon 3 cent " stamp affixed to the envelope.
There is a hand drawn snoopy. The envelope has been sliced open via the top seam. I think it is post marked 1995. There is a hand written date on the back.
Questions & Comments
Cute, I bet someone was sending a family member a cute note or something. I have done that before. Kids always feel left out when they do not get mail (they will hate the mail as adults, lol!).
I am guessing the person sent the envelope inside another to get the 'first day cover' stamped at a certain post office. The post office then sends it to him. The return address is the same so that it would not get it misdirected.
