You put about 30 in six ounces of water and within four hours the beads have soaked up the water. Now you can put fresh cut flowers in the container or you can use them to root a plant. When the balls start to shrink just add more water. As long as you rinse them off to keep them clean you can dry them and use them again. Let me know if this does not help.

When do you rinse them clean when you want to store them? After they shrink back down? Will that make them blow back up?
