The listing, Vintage Gertz German Beer Stein has ended.

Up for sale is my Vintage German Beer Stein. It seems to be in good condition except for some signs of wear on the bottom. I went to a gertz stein collector a while back to try to verify the age and if it was worth anything and he said the stamp on the bottom was a original stamp they started using in the 1900s. Gertz started using 3 different marking after 1960 with serial numbers and not relief numbers. he said it would be worth around 80.00 to 100.00 in auction, but to me its just another item tht sits in my front room that I won in a storage locker auction.

To be honest it was a few years ago and I don't know if I have his number anymore.
But I have gone to some local antique shops and they told me the same thing they started using this marking in the 1900s. I found this item in a storage locker I bought in a auction wrapped in bubble wrap in a box along with some ww2 items, also I have seen a stein like mine but with a blue stamp with a relief number 2 and the theres was post ww2. Mine have relief number 1.

I have took it to the post office they told me medium box flat rate shipping cheapest way to go.
