This auction is for both a 1960 Paving Handbook American Bitumuls & Asphalt Company and a Safe Practices in Street and Road Construction Manual 1948 by the employers insurance of wausau. Both books are in good condition. The paving handbook has useful information about paving, brief specifications, and tabular data for engineers, contractors, and road builders. The Safe Practices in Street and Road Construction Manual 1948 contains Safety practices in the building of streets and roads with great black and white pictures.

The 1960 Paving Handbook has the following condition issues- the front and back covers have scuffing and wear from usage and age, the bottom spine ring is broken, the interior pages are clean and readable but most of the book looks to have suffered some water damage somewhat warping the pages but this does not affect the readability of the text at all
The 1948 Construction Manual has the following condition issues- the front and back covers have scuffing and wear from usage and age, the back cover has a large water spot which does not affect the interior pages, the front page has a small dog ear in the top right corner

The books will be shipped out for free first class in a bubble wrap envelope within a hard cardboard mailer in order to protect the items from bending and damage during shipping. Sold as is.
