The listing, 1857 The Ivors by Elizabeth Missing Sewell Volume 1 1st edition 1st printing has ended.

This auction is for the 1857 edition of the Ivors by Elizabeth Missing Sewell. The book is in fair to good condition. Binding is intact. Gold lettering on spine is readable. All pages are there with the exception of some of the advertising pages in the back being torn out. And page 317 has a small tear in it but both pieces are there would only need a piece of tape. I left it the way it is. Would make a nice addition to your antique book collection.

It is still being published today and has been archived digitally due to it being "culturally important" I have not read the book so I have no idea of the content.

This is actually an important enough book that there is one copy of the 1859 print in the Library of Congress. This one is older than even their copy!
