The listing, apple iphone 3g has ended.

this is for the iphone 3g. as you can see in the pictures. apple has a defective battery found in iphones sometimes. with that, they ask you to take the phone to an apple store so they can refurbish your phone or give you a brand new one to replace it. problem is i dont live anywhere near an iphone store. :/ small town girl. eh.
this phone was working perfectly fine before this happened. so this is a good win. cause not only do you get an iphone. but taking this into the apple store, your getting a newer one to replace it. :/ my loss your win.
no charger. only $6 in store, or $2 online.

I am not sure what I am looking at in the pics - Has the battery exploded and caused the case to break open and damage the front screen?

the exploding battery, is a name for the apple battery expanding. it doesnt actually explode. but one battery that has been found exploding is the new galaxy s4. weird right?
what happens is the battery expanse like a popcorn bag. and pulls the caseing apart. theirs not damage to the glass. the screen is not broke. it seperated the back and front from each other. but yes. it is now open, and has to be fixed or replaced. but apple has a replacement for the battery defective phones.

Thanks for getting back so quick. I have done a small search and found the 3gs to be more of an issue. Is this a 3gs?
Okay, just so I am 100% clear - the case has separated and is not broken right? after the battery is replaced it will snap back together... to the best of your knowledge. The screen seem so have a fractures... lighting / reflection perhaps?
Also, is this a 8gb... 16gb??

no your seeing the reflection on the phone :D. it is not broke at all. this just happened lastnight the phone seperated, it is a 16gb. this happens in all the iphone generations more have been found lately in the iphone 4 and 5s. :/ sad you think theyd figure out how not to let this happen before they made another style

like i said in the info above. apple has a warranty for these defective batteries, no matter how old an apple phone may be. cause its not the users fault the battery expanded, you take it to them and theyll replace the phone
