The listing, LEO DIAMOND 1/10th Carat Solitaire 10K Yellow Gold Engagement Ring - Size 7.25 has ended.

This is a size 7.25 1/10th carat Leo diamond set in 10K yellow gold. It's marked 10K and LSC which stands for Leo Schacter Company. It's also engraved with 1/10 which is the diamond size. It is solid gold so it can be sized up or down at any jeweler.

The Leo Diamond is the first diamond to be certified "visibly brighter" due to the cut. The following is copied from the company's web site:

Awesome diamond I used to work for Sterling Inc that sells his brand. Do you have the diamond certification card that came with it? To anyone else reading I worked at Zales too and the Leo diamond always beat what we had in the case. Such awesome color and clarity. Kays was super strict on what they would put out in quality.

Thank you for commenting! I don't have the card anymore or the original box, but you are absolutely correct that it came from Kays. It was originally around $500 about 10 years ago, and I know they hold their value. It may be small but it's a VERY high quality diamond. I actually saw a Leo Diamond commercial last night. I wish I'd said half of the things they said, but you took care of that! :) Thanks again!

Hi. I have a Leo. Mine is a 1/4 ct. The Leo is set in a gold band and has platinum prongs. Inside the band should say Leo and the O should be a diamond. All of the Leo diamonds have a laser engraving on the actual diamond itself. The Leo diamond has more facets than most diamonds which give it more sparkle and fire and also has almost perfect clarity. Very nice auction. This should go very high. Mine cost $1,299. That is retail but still yours should go high. Very generous.

The newer Leos have THE LE◊ inside them. This ring is from early 2000s and has the LSC trademark that they registered in 1999 for the Leo Diamond. You are right about that sparkle and clarity. These pictures just don't do it justice. This one cost around $500 back when the price of gold was much lower than today. I think retail on this one would be $600 or more easily today. Oh, and it came from Kays. I couldn't remember if it was Zales or Kays earlier but after thinking about for a couple of weeks I'm certain it was Kays. Thank you for commenting!
