Questions & Comments
F&W! By all means, I do not mean to haggle you by asking these, but what deems it as authentic? And I can't really see what the 'number of 100 signed' is, can you help me with that please? Thank you sooooooooo very much for posting this auction. I can't believe I was just browsing when I came across this...I never thought I'd see something like this on Listia!
I the number out of 1000 signed is blank. That is for the whole "limited edition" value. honestly I got this card at a comic convention back in 1999. J. Obarr signed these without even looking. I can't really prove the authenticity but I guess you could Google his signature and compare.
That is way super cool. I have one of his books that this card would go perfect with ;) It's hard to prove authenticity when there's really not a lot of easy ways to prove it unless you get an expert involved or document every moment while obtaining said signature...The way I see it with my autographed items is, 'I know it's real because I was there and the memory of meeting that person to get an autograph is way more valuable to me than to get all politically correct about it for its retail value' - I did Google it, because I Google everything, and got majorly sidetracked looking at all The Crow comics/books on Ebay until 3am lol needless to say, I'm a super huge fan and I'm super stoked that you have this! Thanks! Oh btw, I don't know if you're a fan of The Crow or not but there's supposed to be a 'reboot' of the first film adaptation starting next year. So disappointing.
