This note was for use in what is now the Czech Republic. When the Nazis annexed this part of what had been Czechoslovakia, they called it "The Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia." These "crowns' were used in that area alongside the German Reichsmark, but had little real value.

The conquered Czechs were treated with great brutality and exploited for slave labour in armament factories. We all know what happened to the Jews who had been living there. A terrible chapter in the fascinating history of the Czech people.
