When it is on the back of the door-does it make opening and closing the door harder? Also, does it feel strong enough for the pockets to hold heavy=ish shoes?

The door should be trimmed right and the door should close ok, My door is not trimmed right. Never had any shoes in this So I don't know if it will hold heavy shoes.
